This is a Mantis. He is in the process of appealing to a higher power. I tried to read his brainwaves, but was unsuccessful. I can only surmise he was pleading for salvation from the tall bipedal animal with the flashy silver light box.

Here is an exceedingly rare Acanthurus lineatus that I was able to capture a photo of after hours of searching at great depths. Ok Okay... I was actually snorkeling on the surface... and yep, this is about the most common reef fish in Samoa.

The golf course was pretty empty last friday, I think the rain kept everyone away...
